Governor hails private sector’s role in job creation

The private sector has been performing an active role in the country’s economic and trade sectors, resulting in creation of job opportunities on a large scale and also helping to alleviate poverty, said Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair on while talking to Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions (Safron) Lt General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch at the Governor House on Friday.

On the occasion, the governor said Sindh had become the prime beneficiary of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visionary economic policies.

He said the province would also be benefit from construction the CPEC as industrial estates were being developed and rehabilitated in Sindh on a preferential basis. 

The federal minister briefed the governor about his ministry’s performance, saying that all required facilities were being provided to students of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in this regard. He told the governor that his ministry had also reserved seats for students in medical colleges of Peshawar.

Baloch said special focus had been made on development works being carried out in FATA region in view of the federal government’s vision ensuring development in every area of the country. The minister said life of a common Pakistani had been improved because of the federal governments’ efforts to carry out uplift work in the court on a uniform basis.
