Khursheed lashes out at Nawaz, Imran
SUKKUR: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah has said that there were attempts to make the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and the Supreme Court controversial. Talking to the media after offering Eidul Fitr prayer here on Monday, Shah lashed out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan. He said that after the 2018 elections, we would ask Imran how scored in the elections. “The joining of PTI by Firdous Ashiq Awan and Babar Awan would make no difference to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP),” he added.
Talking about the government, Khursheed said that tall claims were being made about the mega projects but in reality there was not even a single burn centre in Bahawalpur. “If there had been one burn centre in Bahawalpur, there wouldn’t have been so many casualties,” he added, referring to the tragic oil tanker incident that claimed over 150 lives and injured many people.
