Robber killed in encounter

LAHORE

A robber was killed and his accomplice arrested by Dolphin Force in Shadbagh area.  Two robbers were on their way after looting the house of one Malik Nadim in Shadbagh area when Dolphin Force cops intercepted them. Upon which they opened firing on the cops who also retaliated in the same fashion. As a result, one robber, who was later identified as Tooti, was killed on the spot and his injured accomplice Muhammad Ali was arrested.

Police claimed to have recovered stolen items from their possession. The injured dacoit was admitted to a local hospital where his condition was said to be out of danger.

POLICE KILL ‘RAPIST’: An alleged rapist was killed by the police in the limits of Harbanspura police. The deceased was identified as Umair. He had allegedly raped a five-year-old girl in 2014. 

NINE DEAD IN DIFFERENT INCIDENTS: A four-year-old girl drowned in a well in the limits of Manga Mandi police. The girl along with other children was playing outside her house when she accidentally fell into the well, resulting into her instant death. A boy was electrocuted in Main Bazaar Fazalia Colony. The boy yet to be identified was passing through Main Bazaar Fazalia Colony when he came in contact with a live wire. A 50-year-old man was killed by a one-wheeler in the limits of Garhi Shahu police. A 38-year-old man was found dead in the limits of Harbanspura police. Some passersby spotted the body of a man lying in a park in Kotli Pir Abdul Rehman. A 40-year-old man was recovered dead from Naulakha area and 48-year-old man was found dead in the limits of Haier police. A 46-year-old man was found dead in Civil Lines police area. A 50-year-old man was recovered dead from the area of Manawan police.
