Rift in the Gulf
By our correspondents
June 11, 2017
The recent rift in the Gulf is a matter of great concern for Pakistan since the country maintains friendly relations with the Arab world. In this difficult situation, Pakistan should play its role to help resolve the issues between the two Arab states.
The world is facing difficult ties. Terrorism and extremism have disturbed the world’s peace and tranquillity. The Arab states must realise that the need of the hour is to identify the actual enemy and to resolve their issues through dialogue. When united, these states can form a strong alliance against terrorism and anti-Islamic forces. Other neutral states like Kuwait should also try to resolve the issue.
