Sikh Yatrees arrive today
LAHORE: Hundreds of Sikh Yatrees from India reached Pakistan through Wagah Border on special trains for the Jor Mela on Wednesday (today).
According to a press release, ETPB Chairman Siddiq-ul-Farooq and other ETPB officials would receive the Yatrees at the Wagah Border. Strict security measures would be put in place for the Yatrees.
The Yatrees would leave for Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hasan Abdal, on the same day. They would reach Gurdwara Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib on June 10 where they would stay for next two days. The Yatrees would reach Farooqabad on June 12 and Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore on June 13, respectively.
A central ceremony for the visiting Sikh Yatrees would be held at the Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore on June 16 and on June 17 the Yatrees would leave for India through Wagah Border.
