Shazia Akbar’s poetry book ‘Mohabat Hussane Kamil Hy’ launched

The launching ceremony of Shazia Akbar’s second book of poetry ‘Mohabat Hussane Kamil Hy’ organised by renowned literary and cultural organisation ‘Inheraf International,’ at Writers’ House, here, says a press release.
A large number of writers, poets, journalists, social workers and poetry lovers from all over the country participated in the event. The ceremony was chaired by the living legend of Urdu literature, renowned poet and writer, Iftikhar Arif and Siddiq Al-Farooq was the guest of honor.
Rehman Hafiz and Fakhira Noreen hosted the event. Mehnaz Anjum, Dr. Ravish Nadeem, Dr. Arshad Meraj, Waheed Ahmed and Ali Muhammad Farshi expressed their views and also briefly talked about the contents of the book.
The speakers admired the literarily journey of Shazia Akbar and considered her book as a new milestone in literature. They were hoping more valuable contribution from Shazia through her strong poetic skills. Major General (r) Muhammad Tahir, Brigadier (r) Siraj uz Zaman, Ishrat Masoom, Dr. Shafqat Hussain, Dr. Farhat Abbas, Mehboob Zafar and others specially joined the ceremony to appreciate the contribution of the young poetess.
