LAHORE: The head of the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce, who is visiting Pakistan leading an investors’ delegation, said on Tuesday that the delegation will keep an open agenda to explore any investment or trading opportunities in Pakistan, according to a press release.
“We hope to find more opportunities and set a good example for other Chinese cities to follow,” said Wan Guogui.
Shah Faisal Afridi, the president of the Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) said that during its week-long stay in Pakistan, Chinese investors will hold meetings with organisations of the private and public sectors which include Haier Ruba SEZ, PBIT, FPCCI, HBL, UMT, Aptma, CSD, Habib Construction Company, Smeda and PCJCCI.
Afridi said that the primary objective of the Chinese delegation is to explore the incentives to be given to foreign investors. Its particular areas of interest include steel, construction, real estate, building materials and higher education.
