Gorakh Hill Station known as the Murree of Sindh is a famous place of the province. Located in the district of Dadu, the station is located at an elevation of around 5600 ft above sea level. It is famous for its pleasant weather: in summer when the temperature in other districts of Sindh reaches 45 degree Celsius, the temperature in hill station rests at 25 or 28 degree Celsius. However, this region is constantly being ignored by the provincial government.
People who visit the place face difficulties because of lack of basic facilities, broken roads, shortage of water, etc. Many tourists complained that they have met with an accident because of poor roads. Also, their problem was doubled when they couldn’t find a hospital in the area. Although the government distributed funds to begin development projects in the region, no work has been undertaken to date. . The chief minister of Sindh should resolve the prevailing problems in the region. It is a famous tourist attraction and has a great potential to generate revenue for the government
