LAHORE: The Pakistan team management has called Mohammad Abbas to the pre-Champions Trophy camp at Birmingham.

The fast bowler has been called to get experience of white ball cricket in English conditions. He will join the camp on Saturday (today).

The team started training at Edgbaston. With just a little over a week left before the Champions Trophy, the team has already shifted its training sessions into high gear.

The Green-shirts took part in an intensive gym session.

The players were also put through indoor fitness tests at the historic ground, where Sarfraz’s men are set to lock horns with arch-rivals India in their opening match on June 4.

The team also donned brand new training kits as they participated in the training and fitness tests.

Pakistan will play their second and third group stage matches against South Africa and Sri Lanka on June 7 and 12, respectively.
