Although the constitution confers rights to women, plight of women living in rural areas across the country supplements the fact that promises, rights and guarantees given by the constitution are not fulfilled and honoured.
The government should practice statesmanship, farsightedness, humanity and compassion for the implementation of the constitution with a special focus on the rights of women.
