Students’ council of CDA Model School sworn in

The 30th Investitrue Ceremony of newly elected Students’ Council of CDA Model School was held in the school auditorium, says a press release. 

Asad Mehboob Kayani, Chief Officer, MCI and Member, Planning & Design and Engineering, CDA was the chief guest on the occasion. The Principal, Tehseen Farah, the vice Principal Parveen Akhter, staff and the students welcomed the guests.

The ceremony started with the recitation from the Holy Quran.Homage was paid to the Holy Prophet(peace be upon him). Principal Tehseen Farah presented the welcome address.

The students’ council consists of 23 members. All the members are elected through voting. Uswa Hassan was elected the president of the Students’ Council while Saba Batool was elected as a general secretary. Amal Fatima and Tabita Komal were elected as the captains of Razia Sultana House and Noor Jahan House respectively. Aima Abdul Ghaffar and Khansa Junaid were vice captains. In Junior Section Saman Zehra and Auon Haider were elected as the captains of Iqbal House and Jinnah House. Noor Raza and Abeeha Zehra were vice captains. 

Dua e Amna Samie, Wasiq Iqbal, Saliha Kazmi, Farhan, Ayesha Siddiqua, Muhammad Faiq, Anusha Willayat, Ahsan Shazil, Mehro Aftab, Dua-e-Zehra, Momina Haq, Tehreem Fatima will be the class representatives for the current session. The chief guest administered the oath. 

The best council members Laiba Bilal from Junior section and Rida Fatima from Senior section of the previous session were awarded certificates. Ex. President of Students’ Council, Wareesha Azed received merit certificates of her council. Principal Tehseen Farah presented the school souvenir to the chief guest. At the end Azra Naqvi presented vote of thanks.
