Two people were killed and two others injured in separate accidents on Sunday.
Twenty-year-old Wali Khan was killed whereas two of his friends Naqash and Sajjad were injured when a speeding water tanker, bearing number TKL-256, rammed into their motorcycle near Kati Pahari.
The driver was, however, arrested by officials of the Pirabad police station and the vehicle was impounded.
The deceased’s body and the injured were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem examination and treatment.
An unidentified boy appearing to be around 17 years of age died after a hard ball hit him in the head while playing cricket in Orangi Town.
He was shifted to the Qatar Hospital in a critical condition where he died during treatment.
The family took the body without the completion of medico-legal formalities.
On Friday, a woman committed suicide at her house in Defence after quarrelling with her husband.
Darakhshan police identified the victim as 35-year-old Asia Mumtaz Haider.
She locked herself in one of the rooms of her apartment on Badar Commercial after arguing with her husband and ingested poison.
When her husband broke into the room a few hours later, he found her unconscious and rushed her to a hospital where she passed away.
