KARACHI: SSGC and PIA won their matches in Chief of the Army Staff Challenge Hockey Cup on Friday at the Army Hockey Stadium in Rawalpindi.
SSGC thrashed Army Junior, recording a convincing 3-0 triumph. Shakeel Abbasi scored two goals, while Yasir Shabbir scored one.
Meanwhile, two goals from Kashif Ali on penalty corners helped PIA achieve a comfortable 4-1 victory against PAF. Nohaiz Malik and Shafqat Rasool scored one goal each for PIA. PAF’s lone goal was scored by their captain Saeed Shah. The match between Navy and WAPDA ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw.
