The practice of nepotism is ubiquitous in many departments of Balochistan. Concerned officials and government shareholders distribute jobs among their relatives and family members without following a legal, fair and transparent method of recruitment. The violation of merit is at its peak and no strict action is being taken to stop the nepotism. This practice has created much frustration among the educated youth of Balochistan.
If the violation of merit continues like this, the department and institutions will suffer many problems because of incompetent staff. The high court and NAB authorities should take legal action to stop this illegal practice in Balochistan and ensure merit and transparency in appointments.
