KP CM approves four-tier formula for promotion of doctors

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has approved 4-tier formula for promotion of doctors to improve their working conditions. He signed the summary put forth by the Health Department at the Chief Minister’s House here on Wednesday. Under the formula, medical officers (BPS-17) will get 50 percent, senior medical officers (BPS-18) 34 percent, principal medical officers (BPS-19) 15 percent and chief medical officers (BPS-20) one percent share in the overall promotion quota of the medical cadre.
