The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has made the HEC degree verification compulsory for appearing in interview for every post from 2016. Because of this condition, hundreds of candidates have to travel from across the province to Karachi for degree verification.
The HEC has a single regional office in Karachi that verify only a limited number of degrees – only 30 degrees are verified daily. The SPSC administration is requested to facilitate candidates and give them at least one week to bring the HEC-verified degree.
