China Cultural Centre inaugurated in PNCA

China Cultural Centre inaugurated in Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) with the collaboration of Chinese Embassy here on Tuesday.

State Minister for Information Maryam Aurangzeb was the chief guest on the occasion. Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong, wife of Chinese Ambassador Bao Ji Qing, PNCA DG Jamal Shah were also present on the occasion.

While addressing the ceremony Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb thanked the PNCA and Chinese Embassy for taking initiative to make Chinese Cultural Centre. She said this centre will bring Pakistan and China more closer and will strengthen the brotherly relationship between the both countries.

“China is time tested friend and is always there for Pakistan at the time of need,” she said.

The minster further said that the initiative of is not just a development work in between Pakistan and China. This will also help to increase people to people contact between the both countries.

Earlier, Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong said that establishing Chinese Cultural Centre in Pakistan National Council of Arts is the poof of unique friendship between China and Pakistan.  He said the centre would work to introduce more Chinese cultural to the people of Pakistan. He said people to people contact is very important to make the two countries relation more strong.  

Ambassador said China and Pakistan is already enjoying strong brotherly relations. He said such type of cultural exchange programmes make the relations more strong.
