The rupee maintained its overnight levels against the dollar on Tuesday due to comfortable supply of the US dollar in the interbank market, dealers said.
The rupee ended at 104.84 to the greenback, unchanged from the previous day’s closing rate. In the open market, the local currency posted gains as it was traded at 105.95 over the buying counter as compared to the previous level of 106. The rupee rose 20 paisas to hover at 106.10 for selling.
