LONDON: A TV talent show wannabe who launched a racist tirade when a cabbie told her not to eat her chips and cheese in the back of his taxi was today spared jail.

Kathryn Brady - who has auditioned for The Voice and The X Factor in the last three months - lost it when Sabar Ali told her not to eat her greasy takeaway in his motor. She got out of the car, opened the driver's door and booted the inside panel, damaging it. Fiscal depute Trina Sinclair told Dundee Sheriff Court that she then went on a racist tirade.

She said: "The accused was heard to say 'I'm Dundonian, Scottish born.” “She abused him”, this was heard by a door steward at a nearby pub.
