Mashal lynching case: Two more accused arrested
MARDAN: Police have arrested two more accused in Mashal lynching case including a security in charge of Abdul Wali Khan University. The number of arrested accused in Mashal lynching reached 34, police sources said.
According to sources, one accused is identified as Mohammad Bilal. Bilal was computer operator at the university. However, the university administration appointed him security in charge on the main gate of the university.
Sources added that on the day of incident, Bilal provoked the mob and also raised slogans for killing Mashal. Sources added that Bilal was affiliated with PkSF a student wing of ANP and later on he was appointed at the university on political basis.
Sources further added that the second accused was identified as Amir. Sources said the second accused beat the body of Mashal.
