LAHORE
A 45-year-old man was found dead in the Data Darbar police limits on Thursday.
A passerby informed the police about the body near Gate-II of Data Darbar. Police doubted that the man was a drug-addict.
ACCIDENTS: At least 341 road traffic accidents were reported in Rescue 1122 Provincial Monitoring Cell in all 36 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours in which 4 lives were lost and 254 seriously injured were shifted to different hospitals of relevant district. Some 139 minor injured were provided first aid by Rescue 1122 on the spot.
According to a data provided by the PMC, 151 drivers, 10 underage drivers, 58 pedestrians and 188 passengers were among the injured of these road traffic accidents. The statistics show 94 accidents were reported in Lahore Control Room, which affected 102 people placing the Provincial Capital at top of the list followed by 25 accidents in Faisalabad with 36 victims and Gujranwala at third position with 19 accidents and 21 victims.

At Imtiyaz’s House on Nisbat Road, a room caught fire due to short circuit which spread to the whole house. As a result, all the valuables in the house were burnt by the fire. Neighbours called the Rescue 1122 and Edhi Foundation that reached the spot and controlled the fire.
A person at the house also received burns.
