Athletico Dejiwani, Fantastic Five into Neymar Jr’s Five final round

KARACHI: Athletico Dejiwani from Karachi and Fantastic Five from Lahore qualified for the final round of the Neymar Junior Five Pakistan Champion 2017 after a fantastic show in the qualifiers the other day.

These two teams, along with the outfits from Islamabad and Peshawar, will now compete in the finals on April 23. The winners will compete in the Neymar Junior’s Five World Finals to be held in Brazil this year.

Neymar Jr’s Five is the Brazilian forward’s signature football tournament which pits two 5-a-side teams in 10-minute matches, with a twist. Every time one team scores, the opposing team loses a player, paving the way for fast, tactical, and technical showdowns.

Tens of thousands of players will set out with the hope of making it all the way from regional qualifiers to their national final and on to the World Finals at the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr in Praia Grande, Brazil.

Brazil’s Anjos da Bola, the 2016 Neymar Jr’s Five World Champions, were rewarded with a VIP trip to Barcelona where they got to spend time with Neymar Jr at the FC Barcelona training ground.
