Shifa upgrades system for lab reports

Shifa International Hospital (SIH) has upgraded its IT infrastructure, thereby enabling faster and easier access to online radiology and laboratory reports.
SIH’s existing IT infrastructure was increasingly unable to cater to growing demand from patients for rapid online access to their results. The hospital’s IT resources were engaged in troubleshooting and ensuring smooth running of daily operations. As such, the IT staff was unable to focus on innovation in customer experience. SIH has now switched over to Oracle Cloud Platform.
“Our vision is to be the region’s leader in providing quality healthcare services. One key element in this context pertains to giving our patients greater control over accessing their own medical records in a manner that would prevent unnecessary distress,” said Shakeel Akhter, general manager MIS, at Shifa.
