MNA links peace in Pakistan to peaceful Afghanistan
JAMRUD: Member National Assembly (MNA) and Fata parliamentary leader Shahjee Gul Afridi said on Wednesday that peace in Pakistan depended on peace in Afghanistan.
Speaking to reporters at his residence in Shahkas area of Jamrud tehsil in Khyber Agency, he said that peace had been restored to the tribal areas. “The conduct of the “Fata Super League” shows that Fata is peaceful now,” he added.
The MNA said that people of Afghanistan and Pakistan should maintain good relations. He added that the members of National Assembly belonging to Fata were struggling to set up a university and industrial zone in each agency to educate the younger generation and generate job opportunities. “Our main objective behind organising the “Fata Super League” cricket matches is to unite the Fata people,” he said.
