New urban cities are needed in Pakistan to accommodate the increasing population. There is a lack of facilities like employment, education and health in rural areas which forces people to move to urban areas. This exerts pressure on the resources in urban areas. Subsequently people in the cities face overcrowding in hospitals, educational institutes and public places, shortage of homes, traffic jams and a deteriorating standard of living.
The government should take notice of this problem and build new cities with all the possible facilities and civic amenities.
