‘Agosh’ opened for orphan girls

The Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan (AKFP) has opened 'Agosh Homes for Girls' for orphan girls at here at Soan Garden. Naib ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Mian Muhammad Aslam was the chief guest on the occasion.
Ex parliamentarian Dr. Samia Raheel Qazi, Vice Chancellor Riphah University Dr. Anees Ahmad, AKFP President Muhammad Abdul Shakoor and Dr. Hafeezur Rehman were also present at the opening ceremony of the new welfare project.
Speaking on the occasion, Mian Aslam observed that the AKFP under its Orphan Care programme was looking after 6,900 orphan children all over the country while the foundation was also running eight Agosh Homes.
Muhammad Abdus Shakoor said that Agosh Home for Girls is yet another addition to the welfare programmes for orphan children. Dr. Anis Ahmad said that such welfare project needed financial and moral support from the society.
