Zero tolerance for terrorists belonging to any party: CM

SUKKUR: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday along with senior minister PPPP Sindh President Nisar Khuhro and others laid floral wreaths on the graves of Shaheed ZA Bhutto, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and others buried at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh. While talking to media after visiting Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, the chief minister said that he came to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh for reviewing the security plan in order to mark the ‘Martyred Day’ of Shaheed ZA Bhutto on 4th April.

He said that Shaheed ZA Bhutto bestowed Pakistan with a Constitution and made it a nuclear state. He said that there should be tight security measures. While talking about the MQM, he said that MQM Pakistan had once dissociated itself from MQM London. He said that there would be zero tolerance for lawbreakers, terrorists, anti-Pakistan forces and other criminals beyond any discrimination, whether they belonged to the MQM, PPPP or any other political party.

He said that PPPP was ready for the general elections and added that Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were in the pitch. He said that the tours of the prime minister of Pakistan to Sindh were good, no matter if his visits are election motivated but he should have visited Sindh earlier. He said that there were already vehicles for garbage lifting at the Karachi KMC and DMCs, but these vehicles had been grounded by authorities without any fault. He said that the MQM mayor refused to take garbage vehicles, besides MQM elected representatives of LG also refused to take vehicles for office works.

Meanwhile, PPPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro held a meeting in connection with the 38th Martyr Anniversary of ZA Bhutto, which was attended by CM Sindh, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani, Anwar Sial and others. Divisional Commissioner Larkana Muhammad Abbas Baloch briefed the participants about the security measures, deployment of police and other issues. He informed them that 6,800 police personnel would be deployed, including 700 traffic and 300 Rangers jawans, 400 walk through gates would also be installed.

The mayor of Larkana briefed the meeting about municipal services like the cleaning of the city and other issues. PPPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro directed them to ensure drinking water and other facilities for the people. He also directed the DIG police Larkana to ensure foolproof security around Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Naudero and other areas. He said that on 4th April, the anniversary program would start from 1pm and from 3pm, the party leaders would address the public, and the program would end on 6pm and later the CEC party meeting would be held.

He said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Asif Ali Zardari and other party central leaders would be there. On the occasion, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah ordered the DIG police Larkana and divisonal commissioner to ensure foolproof security measures and to manage the traffic system properly by not disturbing anybody. He said that thousands of workers from many parts of the country, including KPK, Azad and Jammu Kashmir had attended the 27th December event. He hoped that there would be large number of the participants on 4th April, so arrangements should be better. He said that PPPP was reinvigorating day by day and many political personalities were joining PPPP by realising that PPPP was the only political party that believed in democracy.
