LAHORE
Dry weather was observed in the provincial capital here Sunday while Met Office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said that continental air is prevailing in most parts of the country. They said a shallow westerly wave is likely to affect upper parts of the country from March 28. They predicted mainly dry weather in most parts of the country while light rain-thunderstorm is expected at few places of Quetta, Zhob, Malakand divisions and FATA.
No rainfall was recorded at any part of the country. Sunday’s lowest minimum temperature was recorded at Kalam and Astore where it was 02°C while the highest was recorded at Sh Benazirabad where the mercury reached 42°C while it was 40 °C at Mithi, Chhor, Padidan and Hyderabad. In Lahore, the highest temperature reached 34 °C while minimum was 17.6 °C and humidity was 21 per cent.
