DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unidentified assailants shot dead a cop near Mandi Town falling in the limits of the University Police Station on Saturday, official sources said. They said that a policeman identified as Muhammad Tahir Marwat was on his way home after performing duty with the census team in Mandi Town when gunmen fired at him, killing him instantly.
