Parents kill teacher for slapping student

LAHORE
A 60-year-old schoolteacher was killed by the parents of a student in a school in the Badami Bagh area on Monday.
The teacher Rizwan Tanveer, a resident of Wasa Colony, Badami Bagh, served as a teacher in a private school. The teacher slapped a student Bilal Rashid for not doing his homework. The boy complained of mistreatment at the hands of his teacher, on which his parents reached the school along with relatives, badly manhandled the teacher and escaped. The injured teacher was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police handed over the body to the family after the autopsy.
