SUKKUR: The Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah, while addressing the newly-elected body of the Press Club of Pano Aqil, said that the government was not implementing the 18th Amendment and taking adverse decisions.
He said that the government instead of wasting millions of rupees on the Metro Bus services should have spent the money on development of the people.Shah said that PPP government had summoned the meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) every three months, but the Nawaz Sharif government had not summoned the CCI meeting, nor was it implementing the decisions of the CCI.He said the country would descend into darkness if the furnace oil shortage was not taken seriously by the government.
