One injured in IED blast in Kurram Agency
PARACHINAR: One person was injured in a bomb explosion in Kurram Agency on Sunday, an official of the political administration said.
According to local political administration, the IED was planted in the Borki area near Pak-Afghan border that went off, injuring a passerby. The political administration official added that the security forces started a search operation in the area after the blast and defused another bomb.
A mobile phone with Afghan SIM was attached with the bomb, the official further added. According to another report, the Frontier Corps has recovered a big cache of arms and ammunitions in different areas of Salarzai tehsil in Bajaur Agency. The FC recovered mortar shells, hand grenades, ammunitions and bomb-making material during Raddul Fasaad Operation.
