Police lauded for PSL security

LAHORE

CCPO Amin Wains has said the way Lahore Police officers and cops organised the best possible security arrangements to make Pakistan super league event successful were exemplary and deserve to be highly appreciated.

The entire force from senior commander to constable put their own lives at risk to defeat terrorists. The officers and cops of the Operations, Investigation, CIA and Traffic Police deserves gratitude. Almighty Allah has bestowed us with success and enlightened the new bright face of Pakistan in front of the entire world, he expressed the views today in his office, at a lunch in honor of  officers for their best performance during the PSL final. On this event DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf, DIG Investigation Choudhry Sultan, DIG Security Dr. Moin, SSP Admin Rana Ayaz Saleem, Chief Traffic Officer Rai Ijaz Ahmed and all the SPs of Operations and Investigation wings participated. DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf said that during the PSL final full support was provided by all security agencies.

Thanks to Safe City Authority also for the best monitoring of the whole event. Thank Almighty Allah who enabled us to secure public lives. Highly thankful to all the officers and cops who came from other districts. The officers of Lahore Police had been working day and night for many days.

The successful commencement of the PSL final in Lahore is the success of Punjab Police as well as Lahore Police.

The message is delivered to the entire world that any mega event can be successfully organised in Pakistan, he added.
