PTI Punjab MPAs who do not pay federal taxes

Even though many of the PTI members of the Punjab Assembly pay their federal taxes, there are also some interesting cases who don’t pay, or don’t file their Income Tax Returns. Perhaps, this may be the prime reason that their record is not found in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) data. Still some of them, according to the statistics available with The News, paid zero tax in year 2015, and also in years 2013 and 2014 for reasons best known to them.

Interestingly, all these members of the Provincial Assembly, like their colleagues on the treasury benches receive regular salary from the national exchequer, and are supposed to pay federal Income Tax, deducted at source. But the record doesn’t tally with the federal tax directory.

The MPA with NTN#2561929-2, elected to women seat, paid zero federal tax in 2015. She however paid Rs6033 in year 2014 and zero in year 2013.

The MPA with NTN#2590758-1 paid Rs4175 as federal tax in 2015. His record for the year 2014 was not found. The gentleman paid zero tax in year 2013.

The MPA with NTN # 3256734-7 has record for year 2015 with the FBR. He paid zero tax in 2014 and 2013.

The MPA with NTN# 2398252-7 paid Rs7500 in 2015. But paid zero federal tax in years 2014 and 13.

The MPA with NTN#4374809-7 paid zero federal tax in year 2015. Her record for the year 2014 and 13 was not found by the FBR.

The MPA with NTN# 1397524-2 remained the highest federal tax payer among PTI provincial legislators as he paid Rs928752 as tax for the year 2015. He paid Rs1931956 in year 2014.

The MPA who remained the second highest federal tax payer among PTI MPAs for the year 2015. He paid Rs826250 for year 2015. And the MPA who remained the third highest federal tax payer for year 2015 paid Rs657433 for the year 2015, Rs747597 for the year 2014 and Rs686395 in year 2013.
