Rainy spell forecast by tomorrow

Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast a rainy spell until tomorrow (Monday). According to meteorologist Rashid Bilal, there is a high likelihood of thundershowers falling in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Fata, AJK, Gilgit-Baltistan and Balochistan during the next 48 hours.
"Until Monday (December 12), rains coupled with thunderstorm are expected at scattered places in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa including Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu and Dera Ismael Khan divisions, Fata, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and at isolated places in upper Punjab including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad divisions, Quetta, Zhob divisions and Islamabad," he said.
The weatherman also said light rainfall was expected along Makran and Sindh coast during the period. He said cold and dry weather would prevail elsewhere in the country. Rashid Bilal said plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh would continue to see dense foggy conditions during night and morning hours.
