PU awards PhD degrees

Punjab University has awarded four PhD degrees to different scholars after they completed their research work. According to a press release, the scholars who were awarded degrees included Noman Javaid in the subject of Chemistry after approval of his thesis entitled “Synthesis and Characterisation of New Sulfonamide Derivatives of Methyl 2-Aminobenzoate”, Arooba Masroor Siddiqui in the subject of Urdu after approval of her thesis entitled “Kalam-e-Iqbal Main Maba’adutibiyati-o-Sofiana Anasir”, Tahir Ahmad in the subject of Zoology after approval of his thesis entitled “Molecular Detection and Characterisation of Gastroenteritis Viruses Occurring Naturally in Aquatic Environment of Pakistan” and Naseem Sahrai in the subject of South Asian Studies after approval of her thesis entitled “Track Two Diplomacy: Conflict Management Between Pakistan and India (1996-2010)”. —Correspondent
