Road to Chiniot
Chiniot has a huge furniture market with vast potential for export, but it is very perturbing that most roads leading to Chiniot from the M2 Motorway are broken and under disrepair for around 4 years. This has resulted in inconvenience to all commuters. The situation turns into an embarrassment when local commuters are accompanied with foreigners. Similarly, the Pindi Bhattian-Chiniot road which connects Chiniot to the motorway has been in a shabby state for the last 4 years and there are no signs of it being repaired any time soon. No attention has been paid to such shabby roads while billions of rupees are being spent on mega-projects which serve only a few.
The chief minister of Punjab is requested to ensure speedy repairs of these downtrodden roads so that the sufferings of the people are mitigated.
