WASHINGTON: Sajid Tarar, a Pakistani American and supporter of US president–elect Donald Trump, has claimed that he made possible the telephonic contact between Trump and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
In an interview with a private news channel, Tarar said that after the telephonic conversation between Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the need was felt for a similar contact with Nawaz.
Tarar said he was in contact with the Pakistani officials after election of Trump as president and was hopeful for stronger bilateral relations between the two countries.
