Flower show starts

A large number of environment and flower lovers turned up at Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flower Show — 2016 which began at Rose and Jasmine Garden here on Friday.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Municipal Corporation Islamabad MCI have organised the Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flowers Show in collaboration with Islamabad Horticulture Society (IHS) to cater aesthetic sense of the Islamabad residents.

The flower show is a regular annual being organised by the CDA for the last many years. Multiple varieties of Chrysanthemum particularly intermediate, incurred, reflex, sprays, anemone, pompons, Korean hybrid, single floor and spidery flower were displayed in mound, stall and rainbow orders at the show.

Various organisations including CDA, MCI, Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad Club and many other organisations are participating in the flower show through their stalls. People in large number, especially ladies and students from different schools, colleges and other institutions were present on the occasion of Chrysanthemum and Autumn Flowers Show.
