Health management system to be set up: CM
Gives Rs1m to visually-impaired position-holder

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said the Punjab government has decided to set up Health Management System in Pakistan Kidney and Liver Transplant Institute while a committee has been constituted for installing this system in other hospitals which will soon present its comprehensive recommendations.
He said Health Management Information System is of paramount importance for ensuring provision of quality health facilities to people. He said due to this modern system, treatment of patients in hospitals will be considerably improved. He was addressing a meeting regarding briefing by Korean experts of healthcare sector in connection with Health Management Information System on Thursday. He said revolutionary steps are being taken for improvement of health sector and it is being harmonised with modern demands. He said all out resources will be provided for serving ailing humanity.
He said he will go to the last limit for providing best treatment facilities to the masses. He said quality medical facilities are right of people and it is obligation of the government to provide these facilities to the masses. He said there is no shortage of resources but the situation demands only sense of responsibility. He said best medical facilities can be provided to people by utilising resources in the best manner. He said all will have to work jointly for obtaining desired results with regard to healthcare system. The Korean experts gave a briefing regarding Health Management Information System.
Meanwhile, Shahbaz Sharif has announced financial assistance of Rs 1000,000 for position holder blind student belonging to a backward village of Muzaffargarh, Amir Shehzad and his family.
The CM appreciated the talent, hard work and wisdom of the student and said besides this, the government will also bear all educational expenditure of Amir Shehzad.
Shahbaz Sharif said the Punjab government is implementing a comprehensive programme for polishing abilities of such students and Punjab Educational Endowment Fund is playing an important role for enhancing their capabilities.
Murad Ali Shah: Shahbaz Sharif has said all provinces of Pakistan and federal government are moving ahead with complete harmony in war against terrorism.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and promotion of relations among the provinces came under discussion. Both the CM agreed to further promote inter-provincial harmony.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said joint efforts will have to be made for forwarding Pakistan. People living in Sindh are our brothers. Punjab government has also included girl and boy students of Sindh, KP, Baluchistan, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan in its educational programmes which is resulting in promotion of national solidarity and harmony, the CM said.
Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed good wishes for Shahbaz Sharif and gave a bouquet to him. Later, he was seen off by the Punjab CM at the airport.
