ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Thursday decided to file a review appeal with regard to NA-110 in the Supreme Court against its judgement after receiving the detailed judgment.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan chaired a party meeting here to take stock of the national scene, its role in the parliament and struggle to prove massive rigging in the constituency during 2013 general election, wherein PML-N’s Khawaja Muhammad Asif had returned.

The meeting was informed that authentic evidence for disqualification of Khawaja Asif as MNA had been obtained and these would be presented before the apex court. The party leadership vowed to vehemently oppose the proposed 24th constitutional amendment, which it felt was based on mala fide intentions with regards to Panama Papers probe.

In this connection, the party will also knock at the doors of the Lahore High Court next week. Party lawyer Babar Awan and Usman Dar met PTI chairman here and discussed legal matters.  PTI leadership strongly condemned on-going Indian aggression and paid glowing tributes to martyred military men and civilians during India’s shelling inside Pakistan.

Meanwhile, visiting British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson met Imran here. Both discussed Pak-British relations, regional situation and matters of mutual interest.PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Secretary General Jehangir Tareen were also present on the occasion.
