‘Training must to improve officers’ performance’

FAISALABAD: Training is inevitable to improve performance of the officers and subordinate staff, said Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rashid Ahmad Aslam.
He was addressing a passing out ceremony of 26th Junior Management Course and 66th Induction Course at the Wapda Engineers Academy (WEA) here on Friday. He said that trainings provided awareness to the staff about new trends, which could provide better results in their professional life. He stressed the engineers to utilise all their capabilities to overcome the power crisis.
WEA Principal Shahzad Bashir said that the senior engineers should transfer their professional experiences to their juniors so that they could perform their duties in an expert manner. WEA Director General Zafar Iqbal said that the academy was providing state-of-the-art technical training to engineers of Wapda, Azad Kashmir and private and public sectors. Later, the Fesco CEO awarded certificates and shields to the participants of the courses. Asim Hussain of Hesco stood first and M Imran of NTDC second while Bahar Ali of Civil Works secured the third position.
