Malaysian delegation visits AWKU

MARDAN: A two-member delegation of University of Technology, Malaysia, visited Abdul Wali Khan University on Friday.
The delegation comprised Dean Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Dr Nasir Tamin and senior lecturer Dr Muhammad Adil Khattak. The guests had an extensive visit of the Garden Campus. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Ihsan Ali briefed them about various under-construction departments and academic blocks. The guests also visited the excavation site at the Garden Campus.
Later, the delegates held a meeting with the vice-chancellor at the main campus. Prof Dr Tamin showed interest in establishing an Engineering Department at AWKU. Faculty and student exchange programmes, master’s and Ph.D scholarships as well as other areas of academic collaborations were also discussed in the meeting.
