Larkana police register FIR against minister, others
SUKKUR: Larkana Police, while pursuing the orders of the circuit bench of the Sindh High Court, registered an FIR against Sindh minister Sohail Anwar Sial, his brother, Tariq Anwar Sial, and five others.
Reports said that the court on October 26 had ordered the police station concerned to register an FIR against the accused on a petition filed by one Ashiq Memon. Reports said that when the police did not register the FIR, the petitioner submitted a contempt of court application at the Larkana bench of the Sindh High Court.
Reports said that on Tuesday the court summoned the police and asked them to explain the reasons of their not obeying the orders of the court. The court ordered the SHO concerned to register an FIR without losing any time. Subsequently the police registered the FIR and provided a copy of the FIR to the court.
