Many attend Qul for Captain Roohullah

CHARSADDA: Qul for Captain Roohullah was held in Wacha Walla in Shabqadar in Charsadda district on Thursday.

Captain Roohullah, an elite army commando, embraced martyrdom recently while fighting the attackers on the Police Training College in Quetta.COAS General Raheel Sharif has announced Tamgha-e-Jurrat awards for Captain Roohullah Shaheed for his valiant action.

Talking to reporters, Dr Habibullah, father of the fallen soldier, said that his son laid down his life to save several cops from being killed by the terrorists.He said that he shifted to Peshawar from Mohmand Agency to provide better education to his children. He added that Roohullah wanted to join Pakistan Army to serve his country and people.Dr Habibullah said that he was proud of his son’s sacrifice who saved several lives. “We are proud that our son embraced martyrdom for the motherland,” he added.

He expressed his gratitude to leaders of various political parties, including Amir Muquam, Sikandar Sherpao, Aimal Wali Khan and journalists Reham Khan for visiting the family for offering condolences.

Military officials, politicians and tribal elders visited the family residence of the martyred captain to offer condolences. Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Nasir Khan Durrani also visited the family residence of Roohullah and offered fateha.The IGP prayed to Al-mighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the family.
