Bullet-riddled body found, man held under FCR
GHALLANAI: The political administration arrested a man under the collective responsibility clause of the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) after a bullet riddled and disfigured body of a youth was found here on Tuesday.
Official sources said that the accused had tortured the youth identified as Asad before killing him with a Kalashnikov. Family and official sources said that Asad was abducted by the gunmen on his way to school in Ghallanai.
According to hospital sources, the deceased was subjected to torture before he was killed. Local residents had spotted the body and shifted it to Ghallanai Hospital for post-mortem and identification.
Over a month ago, the deceased Asad and another man identified as Adil were accused of killing another student Iftikhar. However, they were released by the political administration soon after arrest for lack of evidence.Nausher Khan, uncle of the deceased, told reporters that they had no enmity with anybody. He added that the family of Iftikhar had nominated them in the murder case.
