PESHAWAR: A two-day training on Gender-Based Violence was arranged for domestic woman workers and others.
The training was organised by the Aware Girls, a non-governmental organization, in Nowshera. Up to 30 women, including girls, were in attendance.
The aim was to sensitise women and make them aware of Gender-Based Violence including domestic violence, sexual harassment, emotional abuses and how to overcome and eradicate it from the society.
Sana Gulzar, the social worker and trainer, sensitised the women on the gender-based issues and conducted various sessions.
