TMAs employees join strike against AC
TOBA TEK SINGH: Employees of TMAs of Toba Tek Singh and Pir Mahal also went on strike to show their solidarity with the Kamalia TMA employees who were protesting against alleged misbehaviour of Kamalia TMA Administrator AC Khalid Mahmood.
The Kamalia TMA employees continued their strike on the second consecutive day.
Kamala TMA clerk Akbar Ali accused the AC of insulting him without any fault of his. He said the AC often misbehaved with the other employees as well.
DISTINCTION: Furqan Rafique, a student of the Government Vocational Training Institute of diploma course in computer application and office (professional) stood first in the final examination held under the auspices of the Punjab Vocational Training Council.
He secured 92 per cent marks in the examination.
