PESHAWAR: A retired deputy chief engineer of the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL), Khalid Ahmed Friday urged the SNGPL authorities to clear his arrears in the light of orders of Peshawar High Court (PHC) and end his long sufferings.
Talking to media here, Khalid Ahmed said he was deprived of the Revised Salary Package (RSP-2) and 37 percent increase in basic pay approved by the managing director SNGPL for all the executive officers since July 2006-7 because he could not serve for some period due to prolonged illness.
“I wrote several applications to the MD SNGPL but the matter is yet to be resolved,” he said.
Khalid Ahmed said that later on, he filed a writ petition in PHC where the chief justice passed a judgment on June 16, 2015, ordering SNGPL authorities to give RSP-2, 37 percent increase in basic pay and increment of 2006-07 to the petitioner.
Despite orders of the court, he alleged, the SNGPL authorities were using delaying tactics in payment of the arrears.
He appealed to the authorities concerned to direct SNGPL to clear all his arrears in the light of the court judgment.
