CDA allows gas, power connections to Media Town

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has lifted ban on issuance of NOCs for provision of gas and electricity connections to the residents of the Media Town housing society.
In a letter addressed to the Iesco and SNGPL, the CDA director housing societies has informed the concerned officials that connections may be provided to the residents of Media Town. The Media Town has also been removed from the CDA list of unauthorised housing societies, as the scheme is registered with the Punjab Government.
The CDA has adopted policy of non-issuance of electricity connections to illegal housing schemes.
